VISIT ITALY

Italy is officially the Italian Republic. It is a European country consisting of a peninsula delimited by the Alps and surrounded by several islands. Italy is located in south-central Europe, and it is also considered a part of western Europe.

With a long Mediterranean coastline, Italy has left a powerful mark on Western culture and cuisine. Its capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. Other major cities include Florence, with Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s "David" and Brunelleschi's Duomo; Venice, the city of canals; and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital.

Italy is home to more than half of the European cultural heritage, which has no equals anywhere in the world. It has brought up lots of artists, architects, engineers, and inventors, who changed the world and whose legacy is still alive these days. Italian lands fascinate and broaden the horizons, and, no doubts, are worth the visit at least once in a lifetime. Every traveler will be able to find something unique in this romantic country.

As you are planning your trip, know that certain times of the year are cheaper to travel than others. Everyone knows flights will be more expensive around a holiday, but there are lots of other factors that determine how much you’ll pay for that flight or hotel. Do your research, play around with dates, and decide how many days you can afford to be there.
