Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It's known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers such as the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers.



There are plenty of reasons to visit Malaysia, right from its multicultural aspect to its modern cosmopolitan scenario. Malaysia is a very diverse country and has plenty to offer anyone. With many different destinations on the mainland, plus plenty of islands to choose from.



One of the best reasons to visit Malaysia is for the chance to go diving and snorkelling. This country has some of the best coral reefs in the world! Best examples where you can enjoy the marine nature and wild life are again the islands Pulau Redang, the Perhentians, Pulau Tioman and the beaches of Borneo.


As you are planning your trip, know that certain times of the year are cheaper to travel than others. Everyone knows flights will be more expensive around a holiday, but there are lots of other factors that determine how much you’ll pay for that flight or hotel. Do your research, play around with dates, and decide how many days you can afford to be there.
