VISIT OMAN

Oman is officially the Sultanate of Oman. It is an Arab country on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. Its official religion is Islam. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea on the southeast and the Gulf of Oman on the northeast. The Omani Sultanate was a powerful empire in the late 17th century, vying with Portugal and the UK for influence in the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean. At its peak in the 19th century, Omani influence or control extended across the Strait of Hormuz to modern-day Iran and Pakistan, and as far south as Zanzibar. Muscat is the capital and most populated city in Oman. It was the principal trading port of the Persian Gulf region, and Indian Ocean. Other popular cities in Oman are Sohar, Seeb, Salalah, Sur, Nizwa, Bashar, Alhambra, and the region of Dhofar.

Oman is a perfect place for peace and relaxation. The quiet nature of the country gives its visitors all they need to relax and find peace. Oman has 1.700 kilometers of coastline with fantastic, warm water beaches and lagoons, almost always deserted and very distinct from one another. There is a lot to be surprised about in this fascinating Middle East nation with less than 5 million inhabitants.

A combination of mountains, beaches, and desert makes the Sultanate of Oman one of the tendencies of tourism in the last few years. Oman is absolutely unique in its huge canyons, oases, monuments and frankincense plantations. Some of the nice beaches you should visit in Oman are Al-Sawadi, Khor Al Sham, Kumzar, Yiti, Fins Beach, and Raz Al Jinz which is a protected area where turtles lay their eggs.
